
Every year countless walkers, cyclists, runners and charity fund-raisers from all over the world take on the challenge of conquering the West Highland Way. Since its inception in 1980 many services have been developed offering traditional Scottish hospitality - hearty local fare, friendly pubs, comfy beds, abundant hot water and like-minded folk.
Your overnight options are wild camping, Bunkhouse, Guest House, Wigwam, Bed & Breakfast or Hotel, something to suit every taste and budget. Baggage can be transported daily, rest day activities booked, pick ups and drop offs arranged, packed lunches made up, guided interpretation provided. History, nature and adventure abound - West Highland Way is so much more than a walking route. There’s the joy of the daily hike, followed by the craic of the pub offer a chance to unwind, sample our national drinks and meet other travellers from across the globe.
If you don’t have a whole week to spare or perhaps your fitness level might give you pause, we’ll suggest highlight walks within your capability. People of all ages can enjoy sections of the West Highland Way on a ‘day out basis’ with drop off and pick up.
