Camping Holidays on the West Highland Way
The WHW at your own pace, unbeatable views and freedom. Enjoy your own home-cooking. We can arrange for your your kit to be carried to all your pre-designated locations. All camping parties receive info pack, guide book, map, log books, certificates & badges - plus a folding trowel!
This is THE way to experience the WHW route.
Without doubt, it is the camping experience that allows walkers and cyclists connect with the land and really experience the timeless atmosphere of Scotland's wild places.
Scotland's relaxed attitude to camping allows you a lot of freedom to get to the best places. We do recommend using official sites so that you can take advantage of essential facilities, but also try to programme a wild camping experience. Due to new camping restrictions on the south-eastern part of Loch Lomond we will ensure your pitch at a National Park designated campsite and provide your permit.
We'll take care of all the arrangements, booking your pitches, transporting your camping gear so that you are free to enjoy the walking and the freedom of the Scotland's premier long distance trail.

Flexibility is easily built in to the camping itinerary. There is much to be gained by stopping in one place for two nights in order to explore off the route. Why not head for the summits of Scotland's iconic mountains for fantastic panoramic views, the ultimate feeling of freedom and achievement.
If you need more time, we can be flexible. That's the beauty of camping.
We don’t work to any set template like so many other companies that offer support for the Camino. We prefer to design each Camino walk according to your walking ability. We are happy to call you by telephone to go over your needs and expectations before you undertake the walk.
Traditionally in medieval times, your journey to Santiago started from your front door! However the Camino Frances typically starts from just inside the French/Spanish border at the small town of St Jean Pied de Port. A fairly tough climb takes you over the Pyrenees (there is a lower easier route too) and down into Spain.
The major cities of Pamplona, Leon and Burgos are spread at equal intervals along the nearly 800 kms to Santiago de Compostela.
We are also happy to organise the walk covering the final 100kms of this route to Santiago, which then makes you eligible for the Compostelana certificate.
We have tailored walks from one to one hundred days, starting from as far away as Le Puy in France.
Camping allows you to spend time in places that other walkers pass by, en route to their accommodation.
Camping equipment can be transported with your tent and luggage to pre-designated locations.
We make sure that your pitch is guaranteed.
