Cycling the West Highland Way
Ride this exhilarating 96 mile route in 2 or 3 days, using B&B accommodation with baggage transfers. We recommend 1/2 nights on the Way and 1 night in Fort William. Prices Include Baggage & Ferry transfers. Private bike return from Fort William to Glasgow is included in the package.
WHW is increasingly popular with experienced mountain bikers. The terrain is widely varied and challenging, passing through woodland and forest, over watercourses and hills, across wilderness and moorland, with some tough gradients. However, if you've got the fitness, skill and stamina it's a superbly rewarding trail.
The East Bank of Loch Lomond is from Rowardennan is technically challenging and you'll find yourself carrying your cycle as much as it carries you. It's particularly tough north of Inversnaid - resulting in 3-5 hours shouldering your bike.
Hence, our top tip - from the eastern banks of Loch Lomond you and your bike can be transported by boat to the western shore. This wear and tear saving exercise is a useful way of getting you & your machine safe and sound to your first overnight stop at the top of Loch Lomond.
We'll help to work out your schedule to make all the connections work smoothly.
PRIVATE BIKE RETURN TRANSPORT CAN BE ARRANGED.
As the Fort William train service allows very limited space for bikes - currently just 2 bikes maximum - we can offer a bike return service by our regular experienced carriers.

We don’t work to any set template like so many other companies that offer support for the Camino. We prefer to design each Camino walk according to your walking ability. We are happy to call you by telephone to go over your needs and expectations before you undertake the walk.
Traditionally in medieval times, your journey to Santiago started from your front door! However the Camino Frances typically starts from just inside the French/Spanish border at the small town of St Jean Pied de Port. A fairly tough climb takes you over the Pyrenees (there is a lower easier route too) and down into Spain.
The major cities of Pamplona, Leon and Burgos are spread at equal intervals along the nearly 800 kms to Santiago de Compostela.
We are also happy to organise the walk covering the final 100kms of this route to Santiago, which then makes you eligible for the Compostelana certificate.
We have tailored walks from one to one hundred days, starting from as far away as Le Puy in France.
